The Student Development Studio is an independent project based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. This page explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Your email address, only if you choose to join the waitlist.
• Basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) that our hosting provider may log automatically to keep the site running and secure.

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use your email address to send updates about How to Be a Student and Task Decoder, such as launch news and early access. We do not sell your email address or share it for advertising.

Who handles it

We use an email service provider to store the waitlist and send updates. Service providers handle your information on our behalf, and some may store it outside Canada, including in the United States.

Unsubscribing and deleting your information

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by emailing us. You can also ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you.

Children

The waitlist is intended for parents, guardians, and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this form. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will delete it.

We may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
